Wheelchair van driver
What you’ll be doing
Job duties
-
Provide door-through-door pick-up and drop-off for clients
-
Ensure client’s wheelchair has been safely tied down and secured for transport
-
Transport clients to and from previously scheduled locations in a safe and timely manner
-
Inspect vehicle for any damage, ensure all the required equipment is in the vehicle
-
Maintain cleanliness of company vehicles and report mechanical concerns to management
-
Use software, tablets or electronic device as required
-
Maintain company tablet in case
-
Keep up to date with training
What you’ll need to be eligible
Qualification requirements
-
At least 21 years old
-
Valid Ohio Driver’s License with a clean driving record (No CDL required)
-
High School Diploma or GED
-
Pre-employment Drug Screen and will be part of our random drug program
-
Physical Exam
-
Criminal Background Check
-
Must be able to work around service animals

What you’ll be doing
Job duties
-
Assign trips to drivers using state of the art software to efficiently place trips
-
Communicate with on-the-road drivers using computer-based messaging as well as the telephone system
-
Report on-the-road accidents to management
-
Arrange towing and all associated tasks when needed
-
Provide customers with accurate and professional information on the status of their pick-up
-
Handle and attempt to resolve customer complaints in a professional manner
-
Assist the Customer Service Department as needed by answering phones and entering trip information
What you’ll need to be eligible
Qualification requirements

Must pass a pre-employment DOT drug screen
-
Must pass a State and Federal criminal background check.

High School Diploma or GED required
-
Customer Service and/or call center experience preferred
-
Must have the ability to work weekends and holidays as needed
